Boarding

Stoney Gate Farm is the ideal place to board for not only an aspiring eventer, but anyone looking for excellent facilities while maintaining a peaceful environment.  We don’t host a riding school and only have a couple of boarders at a time, thus, facilities are always open and low-traffic.  The atmosphere is kept friendly and inviting, with an emphasis on communication.  Staff is on site 24/7 and we offer extremely individual care.  Rene is always here to talk if you have a request, question, or need help!

Facilities include:

  • 70′ x 170′ indoor arena, with mirrors and attached to the barn by breezeway.  Top quality lighting and footing.
  • Fenced and lit 100′ x 200′ outdoor sand ring.
  • XC course and stadium jumps
  • 12′ x 14′ box stalls, matted and bedded deeply with shavings.  Large windows and top doors to outside in each.
  • Large turnout paddocks with excessive grazing.
  • “I.C.U.” paddock for horses on lay-up.  Allows them to go outside, while restricting excessive movement.  Excellent for keeping them happier and quieter, reducing stress and chance of re-injury.
  • Heated, clean lounge/viewing room.  Comfortable seating and hot drinks, with an espresso machine.
  • Grass fields to hack/gallop on. Acres of groomed trails with safe creek crossings!
  • Therapeutic Ultrasound treatments available!  Assisting in healing soft tissue injuries, abscesses, reducing scar tissue, and relieving arthritis pain.  Daily treatments included in Lay-Up Board.
